1. Packing density of materials: refers to the weight per unit volume of materials in a loose state. Because particles or powders contain matter and air, the density of the particles will change according to the form of accumulation, so it is necessary to measure the density of the actual state.
2. Particle factor: refers to weight, particle size distribution, shape, hardness, etc. The fluidity of particles is the key factor that affects the flow of materials and the design of conveying system.
3. Accumulation Angle: refers to the fluidity of the material is one of the important parameters when judging the transportability of each material. It is usually expressed by accumulation Angle, that is, the Angle between the cone and the horizontal plane of the cone formed after the material is dumped from the height. The smaller the Angle, the better the liquidity, and vice versa. However, for some special materials, the adjustment Angle cannot accurately represent the fluidity.
4. Humidity sensitivity: All materials are hygroscopic. Moisture sensitive materials may change fluidity due to hygroscopic caking, or even stick to the pipe wall or filter surface, causing pipe or filter clogging.
5. Explosion hazard: When the powder is mixed with air and reaches a critical concentration, once there is a spark, explosion will occur. It is difficult to control the concentration of materials during transportation, which can be controlled as oxygen and spark. Inert gases are used to protect and isolate oxygen, which can control the risk of sparks by eliminating static electricity.
6. Toxic: Toxic leakage will cause environmental pollution and personal injury, so reliable technology and equipment must be adopted in the transportation process to avoid. Vacuum feeders are a safe choice because the pressure inside the transport system is below atmospheric pressure, so there are no leaks. In addition, transportation system emissions must be reasonable harmless treatment, discharge standards;
