1. Screen width and length
Under normal circumstances, the width of the vibrating screen determines the processing capacity of the screen. The wider the screen surface, the greater the processing capacity. The length of the screen determines the screening efficiency of the screen. The longer the screen surface, the higher the efficiency. For the vibrating screen, the increased width is usually limited by the structural strength of the screen frame. Generally, the larger the width, the shorter the life of the screen frame. At present, the screen width of the vibrating screen is generally less than 2.5 meters, while the screen width of some countries is 5.5 meters. After the length of the sieve surface reaches a certain size, the screening efficiency is very small or does not increase, and increasing the length of the sieve surface only increases the volume and weight of the sieve. The processing capacity and screening efficiency of the sieve are two interdependent indicators that must be considered at the same time. Generally, after determining the screen width, the screen length is determined according to the aspect ratio. The aspect ratio of mine shale shaker in China is 2, and the width ratio of coal shale shaker is 2.5.
Working Principle
ZSR series hot or vibrating screen is seat mounted. The double-axis vibration exciter is adopted, and the motor does not participate in the vibration. The two motors are dragged externally for reverse self-synchronous rotation, so that the screen body moves periodically along the linear direction, so as to achieve the screening purpose.
Installation and commissioning
1. Before installation, the on-site foundation shall be checked against the screen installation drawing, and the flatness error of the embedded steel plate shall be ≤ 3mm.
2. Before installation, the sieve shall be installed from bottom to top. After each link is adjusted to the preliminary qualified state, the next link shall be installed.
3. After the installation of the screen, adjust the relative position. The primary and secondary damping springs are vertical. The motor axis should be 3-5 mm lower than the axis of the exciter. Then, the motor support, spring base, and embedded steel plate should be spot welded firmly.
4. It is required that the rotation direction of two motors must be opposite and that the eccentric block of the exciter is in the same phase.
5. The vibrating screen runs for 4-6 hours without load. The screen body is required to run stably without a swing and abnormal noise. Check the fastening of the screen plate and the vibrator.
Technical characteristics

Use and maintenance
1. The screen machine shall not be started with materials, and the sundries around and on the screen machine shall be cleaned before use.
2. In case of unstable operation, abnormal sound, or other abnormal conditions during the operation of the sieve, stop the sieve immediately for an inspection.
3. Check the bolt connection frequently and tighten it immediately if it is loose.

5. The spring is easy to accumulate dust and impurities, which will affect the normal work of the spring, so it should be cleaned frequently.
