1. Insufficient lubrication
During the use of the bearing, the internal lubricating oil is gradually consumed. If the amount of lubricating oil is too small, the friction will increase during the operation, resulting in heating, and in serious cases, the bearing will be damaged. If there is too much oil, the problem of slipping may also occur, causing the bearing temperature to rise. Therefore, during the use of the shale shaker, the bearing oil volume should be checked regularly, and the oil should be filled in time. Pay attention not to fill the oil, but to leave a third of the space.
2. Insufficient free clearance
Working clearance is an important quality index of bearings and an important parameter for the normal operation of bearings. If the working clearance of bearings is too small, the friction torque of bearings will increase, and a large amount of heat will be generated during operation, resulting in heat damage to bearings. Therefore, pay attention to adjusting the original bearing clearance to the standard value when installing the equipment.
3. Incorrect use of lubricating oil
If the selection of lubricating oil is not appropriate, or impurities such as dust enter the bearing, resulting in the failure to form a uniform lubricating oil film inside the bearing, it will not be able to reduce friction and cause the bearing temperature to rise. When different kinds of lubricating oils are mixed, chemical reactions may occur, resulting in deterioration and caking of the grease and reducing the lubricating effect. Therefore, appropriate lubricating oil should be selected. If other types of grease are replaced, the original grease should be cleaned first to avoid mixing different types of grease. In addition, the bearing seal shall be kept intact to prevent dust from entering.
4. Poor bearing quality or unreasonable type selection
If it is found that the bearing heating is not caused by the above reasons after inspection, it is necessary to consider whether the bearing itself has quality problems. The rotating speed of the bearing is high during the working process, and the feeding of the vibrating screen will bring a large impact load to the bearing. Only when the type, rotating speed, size, and other data of the bearing match with the vibrating screen, can it work normally and stably. Once the type selection of the bearing is unreasonable or there are cracks, peeling, and other quality problems, it is easy to cause the temperature to be too high during the working process, or even fracture, resulting in equipment failure.
